Nature in North Korea

Actually we questioned almost everything we saw during our trip in North Korea. ut one thing we now for sure: the nature in North Korea is beautiful! We make several walks in parks and mountains, lovely!

Bridge of love (reachable after 1 hour of intensive hiking.. pfff)

During our tour we visited several parks, the one even more beautiful than the other. After a greak picknick at one of the parks, we saw a group of (older) ladies changing clothes... They went to a stage to make music and dance. When the guides finally allowed us to leave the table, we went for a look. Cindy joined the dance, very nice. During this stay we did not question the integrity of the ladies at all... Afterwards, we started hesitating, especially when one of our travelling companions saw the same ladies at the mausoleum...

The entire country is cultivated, mainly with corn and rice. Not one piece of land is left... When it starts raining (and it rains hard and for very long times!) the land has no possibility to absorb the water. Rivers flow over and the water level rises. Lately there were giant floods... floods are a disaster because this influences the food production directly. During our tour we experiences how incredibly hard it can rain and how fast the water rises...
